- The Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is a really special place. It is the highest plateau in the world. People call it “the Roof of the World”. There are lots of high mountains on this plateau, for example, Mount Qomolangma. Many people like climbing mountains. They often come here to challenge themselves and have a try. The plateau also has many beautiful lakes. Namtso Lake is one of them. The blue water of the lake and the mountains around it make a very nice picture. You will feel amazed when you see it. What’s more, the culture (文化) here is quite different from that in other places. The local people have their own special customs and traditional festivals. During the festivals, they sing and dance happily. Through their songs and dances, they show their love for life. It’s really interesting to learn about their culture. You should come here and see it one day.
